Capacity building :

  1. The Capacity building initiative aims to build capacity at the local government level for implementation/application of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) as an effective and strategic tool for improving the (local) environment to achieve tangible impacts and improvements through municipal activities.
  2. The partnership comprises a middle- and long-term strategy for motivating, training, and supporting local governments to use and implement Environment Management Systems. 
  3. It gives the focus to making implementation happen. Besides, this program supports good governance, local sustainable development, and stakeholder involvement.
  4. Initiate a strategy for implementing Environmental Management Systems in local governments.
  5. Support local governments to succeed in the implementation and application of Environmental Management Systems.
  6. To set up a training and guidance mechanism that derives and offers support throughout the entire process of Environment Management System implementation i.e. accompanying measures over a longer period of time (handhold approach’).

TRAINING

  1. We  offer training programmes to enhance knowledge and skills for policy makers and practitioners at state/city level/Rural areas and in parastatal agencies to realise the goals of urban governance and management.
  2. It provides immersion programmes taking benefit of the strategic tie ups with several parastatal agencies of national and international repute.
  3. Capacity building of municipal councils corporations , and transformational change management is a key strength we are committed to brought into Urban Governance in India.
  4. We are committed to train civic representatives, officials, administrators and technical personnels on good urban governance, leadership development, management skills, project and contract management, Public Private Partnerships ICT and Service Delivery , etc.
