The capacity Building Initiative Aims to build Capacity At The Local Government Level For implementation/Application Of Environmental Management Systems(EMS) as an Effective & Strategic Tool Forimproving the (Local) environment to achieve Tangible Impacts & movements through Municipal Activities.
The Partnership Comprises a middle & Long Term Strategy for Motivating Training & supporting Local Government To Use & Implement Environment Management Systems.
It gives the focus to making Implementation happen.
Besides this program supports good governance,local sustainable development & stakeholder involvement.
Initiate a strategy for implementing Environmental Management Systems in Local Governments.
Support Local Government To Succeed in Implementation & Application of Environmental Management Systems.
To set up a Training & Guidance mechanism that derives & Offers Support throughout the entire process of Environmental Management System implementation i.e accompanying measures over a longer period of time.
